フランダースの犬の最終回

を、少し前に東京MXTVでやっていたので見た。
ルーベンスの絵の覆いはどうなっていたのか、前から気になっているというのはだいぶ前に書いたんだけど、それを確かめるためである。

やはりルーベンスの二枚の絵の覆いは、あらかじめ外されていた。
アニメの原画を元にした一部の絵本では、風でめくれたとなっているんだけど、これは誤り。
原作の描写はやや曖昧で判断しかねるんだけど、ネロが来た頃には既に風で飛ばされていたと解釈するのが自然のよう（あるいはネロ自身が剥ぎ取った？）。
原作ではロウソクも消えていて、月明かりで絵を見るんだけど、アニメではロウソクは点っており、二人が倒れてから風で吹き消える。
